filming day 1 Tuesday 20th october
Today we managed to film locations, and a few of our actors, but all actors could not be present at this time, which we should have thought about before we began to film. We feel that today's filming was not as successful as we had planned because not only could the actors not be here as they were in other lessons but we also had a member of our group missing. we hope that our next filming goes much better.
Shooting Schedual
Tuesday First Lesson: We are starting to film our opening to our children's film, we are not going to film in a order, because we need to have the actors available at all times but this isn't possible because they have other commitments. Try and fit as much rolling to characters as possible if not many actors/ actress' are available, if they are all available, we will film the scene where they are all in together
Thursday First Lesson: More filming with characters, also filming the scenery.
------Half Term------
Tuesday First Lesson After Half Term: last bit of filming if needed, this shouldn't be the case.

Feedback from group 45
7 posts, missing the photos of the setting ideas. no group picture.
The initial ideas are good and detailed and clear about what you want to do.
The genre is not very clear, make genre clearer so that the obvious factors are present.
It's not clear what actually happens in the opening sequence and could go into more detail of how it actually started. It's good that they have put the link so that you can actually watch it yourself.
The storyboards are detailed and tell you exactly what is going on.

opening sequence planning
Our new idea for our opening sequence is:
a childrens adventure film about a group of individuals from each different social group, like, plastics, nerds, posh-totties, goths, sports, stage students.
we have a idea that it each individual, will have a scrapbook and it will cut to a short clip of them in their natural social status.
The main part of the opening sequence, is introducing the characters.

childrens film idea's
Adventure, animation? i-stop. We have decided that animation would be the simplest way in the time that we have because to be able to have actors that have the same free periods or media lessons with us and to be able to organise all the settings would be harder than to make the settings and characters. we think that in a childrens film it would be a good idea to have a child but that is not allowed in college because we can not bring anyone onto the sight and it would be to complicated to get permission. We were thinking that we could have a camera at childs level and show what their point of view is walking around the college. we were thinking that she may have lost her parent in a busy place and at the end of our sequence her mother looks down on her and reaches towards her. And the audience do not know who this lady is. she may be followeing someone that she wants that is in someones bag.

Childrens Films
Back To The Future - adventure, sci-fi.
From the opening sequence we can tell the genre of the film is obviously science fiction because of all the gadgets in the household which is not usual for a normal house.
there are lots of clocks being shown in at the start of the film, this links in with the name of the film (Back To The Future).
Toy Story 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgqRK_WrKs8&feature=related
we watched the opening sequence of toy story 2 it only introduces one character, buzz lightyear and does not give the audience any idea of what the film may be about. The opening sequence is very different to the actual film as the toys are playing a game and it just shows the game and not the setting of the film or any pother information. This if effective as when it does introduce andy's room it draws you in and makes you want to watch on to know what will happen next.

new script
we changed our script because we though that the last one would need good actors to show the emotions that we wanted. Also there was a new member to the group and we lost one person so we had to change it.
Connor: what are you doing here ?
Heather: whats it to do with you ?
Connor: i am your brother
Heather:well sometimes i wish you were not.
we made the conversation simpler so that we could concentrate on the shooting more.
